Together we are restoring and reimagining the Rose Garden at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden into a beautiful, welcoming destination where visitors can gather, wander, celebrate and return season after season.
The May Arboretum Society has secured the first $40,000. The rest will come from community support and partnerships, from neighbors, members, families and businesses who want to see this garden bloom again.

This is a place to slow down. A place to breathe in fragrance on a warm evening, to photograph a granddaughter in her graduation dress, to remember someone, to simply sit for a while surrounded by color. The restored Rose Garden will be an inviting place to gather, explore and celebrate for generations to come.

A thoughtful new design will improve the beauty, accessibility and flow of the Rose Garden while creating a renewed setting for the Arboretum's rose collection. Wider pathways will welcome visitors of every ability. Improved irrigation will use water wisely. Border trees will frame the garden and give it shape and shade for decades to come.
